一休さんはれっきとした天皇の皇子なんだけど、60年に渡った南北朝時代が
やっと終わった矢先に生まれ、生母が南朝方の人間であると疑われてしまい、
世を乱す要因にならないように落飾させられたんだよ。
寺社奉行として一休さんの周りにいた新右衛門さんも実は幕府がつけた見張り役。
将軍様に呼び出されてのとんち問答は、一休さんに不穏当な言動があれば殺すための口実。
